Job Details: 

The Dispatcher is responsible for managing and directing deliveries, installations, pickups and schedules. The dispatcher is responsible for ensuring all deliveries and pick-ups are accomplished in a professional, cost-effective manner. Additionally, the dispatcher is responsible for communicating effectively with drivers and route personnel to monitor route progress.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Breaks down workload into assignments and prioritizes and delegates assignments to staff

  • Develops and oversees methods and procedures for transportation of rental equipment and supplies from Company warehouses to Customers, other warehouses or other storage facilities.
  • Determines most efficient and economical routing and mode of transportation.
  • Directs scheduling of deliveries and notification of concerned departments or customers of arrival dates and approximate times.
  • Communicates with customers regarding delivery schedules, delivery problems and installation issues.
  • Oversees the tracking of all DOT driver requirements such as driver mileage logs and reports/investigates all driver accidents to the General Manager.
  • Ensures all packing supplies and installation equipment is in stock.
  • Ensures company and leased delivery vehicles are inspected and serviced at proper intervals. Develops and implements an effective process of selecting, and training staff.

 

Requirements:  Experience with Owner Operators preferred, but not required. Must Have strong interpersonal skills and great customer service.  1 year Dispatching experience required

Job Details:

The Driver Recruiter is responsible for identifying, sourcing and recruiting qualified Class A company drivers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with human resources, transportation, and safety divisions. You will be responsible for executing daily tasks including; recruiting, interviewing, on-boarding, and creating a positive business environment for long-term retention of company drivers. 

 

  • Actively recruit Company Driver and Owner Operators, through various advertisement mediums and lead generation.
  • Utilize all company resources to complete the Recruiting process (Phone, computer, Internet, etc.); Manages the necessary sourcing and advertising of openings.
  • Develop and maintain a database of Company, Contractor, other  candidates. 
  • Develops and maintains a full understanding of the local driver labor market.
  • Help improve Independent Contractor and Company Driver Retention – promote a positive business environment and become a source of guidance for drivers
  • Works with transportation management and facilities management to identify staffing needs and requirements. Must be able to track and report on all activities on a routine basis
  • Develops networks with external sources to continually improve sourcing opportunities
  • Develops and maintains relationships with drivers through a variety of sources, electronically and face to face locally.
  • Maintains and promotes DOT compliance during recruitment and hiring process; Complete candidate files for review by the Safety Department for approval
  • Ensures compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations; shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences in all phases of recruitment process.
  • Reviewing weekly reports on Driver performance.

Company Drivers- CDL A Solo Engineer Driver

 

THE POSITION:

  • $1200-$2,000 per week on average

THE POSITION:

  • Operates vehicle in safe and professional manner on public highways, roads, and other various job sites.
  • Performs daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines.
  • Checks fluid levels, tires, lights, and other controls for safe operation.
  • Keeps accurate log of deliveries and completes required paperwork.
  • Escort oversize loads to their destination in order to improve and maintain safety.
  • Monitor various gauges during operation of vehicle.
  • Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  

  • CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Pass pre-employment screening including background check, driving record check, and drug screening
  • Travel as required by job assignments, typically no more than 25%
